6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb – Machame Route

The Machame Route, also known as the Whiskey Route, is renowned for its challenging terrain compared to the easier Marangu Route (the Coca Cola Route). Climbers will experience steeper trails and longer hiking distances while camping in tents instead of staying in huts.

The trek typically spans 6 to 7 days, starting from the lush Machame Gate in the southern base of Kilimanjaro and culminating at Uhuru Peak. The route provides breathtaking views and effective altitude acclimatization through varied elevation profiles.
