Itinerary

Day 1Arrival and Pick-up

  • Highlights: Warm welcome, personalized safari briefing, relaxation.
  • Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by our professional guide for a warm welcome. You will then transfer to your hotel in Stone Town or along the beach (as per your hotel choice).
  • Meet with your safari consultant for a comprehensive itinerary briefing and get all your questions answered.
  • Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel after the journey.
  • Meals: Dinner included at the hotel.

Day 2Horse Ride, Cheetah's Rock, and Turtle Swimming

  • Morning:
    • Start your day with an exhilarating horseback riding experience tailored to your interests. Options include serene beach rides or a unique opportunity to swim with the horses. Ride times depend on tidal schedules, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
  • Afternoon:
    • Visit Cheetah’s Rock Conservation Center, where you will interact with rescued wildlife, including cheetahs. This ethical and educational experience allows you to learn about conservation efforts firsthand.
  • Evening:
    • Continue to the Baraka Natural Aquarium to feed, swim, and interact with turtles. Learn how the aquarium rehabilitates turtles caught in fishing nets before releasing them back into the ocean.
  • Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 3Mnemba Island Tour

  • Morning:
    • After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for a snorkeling tour at Mnemba Atoll, renowned for its vibrant marine life. Encounter lionfish, stingrays, moray eels, turtles, and more under expert guidance. Dive deeper to explore the reef wall for schools of trevally, emperor fish, and barracudas.
  • Afternoon:
    • Head to Nungwi for a relaxing afternoon on the beach, where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or simply soaking in the beautiful sunset views.
    • Optional: Add a private Sunset Traditional Dhow Cruise for a romantic sailing experience at $280 for two people. Enjoy local snacks, tropical fruits, and soft drinks as you sail along the coast.
  • Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

 

Optional Add-ons

  • Sunset Traditional Dhow Cruise at $280 for two (private, 90 minutes).
  • Additional water sports such as jet skiing or diving can be arranged on request.

Day 4Nakupenda Island Tour and Stone Town Exploration

  • Morning:
    • Depart at 9:00 AM for the Nakupenda Sandbank Tour. Relax on the pristine white sands or snorkel in the surrounding turquoise waters. Enjoy seasonal fruits and a freshly prepared seafood lunch.
  • Afternoon:
    • After lunch, head to Stone Town to explore the historic labyrinth of narrow streets, colorful markets, and significant sites like the House of Wonders and the Old Slave Market.
    • End the day with an optional dinner at The Rock Restaurant, perched dramatically on a rock in the ocean.
  • Transfer back to the airport for your departure flight.
  • Meals: Breakfast and Lunch included. (Optional dinner at The Rock Restaurant or Park Hyatt not included.)
