Itinerary

Day 1Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Activities:

After breakfast, meet your mountain guide and drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate for registration.

Begin the hike through the rainforest to Mandara Hut, taking about 3 hours.

Optional side trip to Maundi Crater for scenic views of Northern Tanzania and Kenya.

Enjoy birdwatching and spotting Colobus monkeys in the rainforest.

Day 2Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

This day would cover the descent from Horombo Hut back to Marangu Gate, concluding the hike.
